At some point during our lives it’s inevitable that we must deal with blood clean up from a trauma, death or some form of accident. Bio Scene Clean Up provides blood cleanup service in Tampa Palms, FL and surrounding cities.
When blood leaves the body it eventually dries. Depending on the type of surface that the blood is on depends on how long the drying process is. Blood leaves the body in liquid format and then begins clotting where the potential of particles flaking can create serious biohazard risks. Clotting can happen in as little as fifteen minutes and the dried flakes can become airborne (depending on the blood scene scenario) spreading potentially dangerous biohazards to other areas away from where the blood spill occurred.
In most cases the medical conditions of the person who’s experienced a trauma or death causing blood spills are not known. If you are the person responsible for blood cleanup services, it’s important that you know the risks associated with cleanup and hire Bio Scene Clean Up, a Tampa Palms Blood Cleanup company to safely clean and sanitize the biohazard area. Once blood leaves the body, there are many factors that cause blood to quickly become a dangerous biohazard. Our technicians are experienced in blood cleanup and biohazard removal services. Our company maintains the proper permits and equipment necessary to perform blood cleanup services in compliance with State and Federal guidelines. If you are unfamiliar with these protocols, you are putting yourself and others at risk. You may also be subject to strict fines and penalties if you perform an improper biohazard cleanup.
If you find yourself being faced with the responsibility of cleaning up blood from a trauma, accident or death scene, contact Bio Scene Clean Up immediately for assistance. We offer emergency dispatch services for blood cleanup in Tampa Palms, FL and are familiar with payment assistance options that may help cover the costs of our services.

What exactly is emergency response?

If you are responsible for the cleanup of a blood or biohazard scene and there are other people living in the home or it’s a workplace with employees in the same area, this would constitute an emergency response need. If there is a trauma, blood spill or medical biohazard situation in an area that is closed off from contact with anyone, or a scene like an undiscovered death where the area can be quarantined, then it is easier for companies like Bio Scene Clean Up to schedule a non-emergency cleanup.
Any time you are faced with the responsibility of having to have a biohazard scene cleaned and materials removed, you run the risk of exposing yourself and others to potentially dangerous pathogens that can be harmful to your health and in certain cases, even fatal. People who are not certified in biohazard cleanup and removal should never attempt to remediate a scene themselves. Improper cleaning can easily spread potentially dangerous biohazards to other people or areas.
Out trained, professional staff is experienced in certified biohazard cleanup and we maintain the necessary equipment and cleanup protocols that help protect our clients from these types of liabilities. If you experience a trauma, crime or other blood and biohazard situation, contact us for more information. We will ask a series of questions that will help determine if you need emergency cleanup services or just standard cleaning and biohazard removal.

Who to call when tragedy strikes

You answer the phone and suddenly you are dealing with a distraught family member of a suicide victim. This is a call that no one ever thinks they will have to make, however you’re meeting them at one of the worst times in your life. Not knowing what to do in the midst of a trauma is normal. What you need to know is: If a violent crime, suicide or death occurs on your property you are responsible for cleanup. Emergency personnel or the coroner will remove the dead but anything left behind is up to the property owner to handle.
What’s left behind is never something you can just bleach and use air fresheners. Crime, death and blood/biohazard cleanup requires special chemicals, equipment and training to ensure the property is returned to a safe and habitable environment. Generally people do not know that things such as pointy bed springs, splinters of wood, shards of glass all can contain potentially dangerous pathogens that can compromise the health of the person cleaning or in contact with the affected areas.
All items and materials containing biohazard potentials must be removed and properly disposed. Many of these potentially harmful items are not even visible to the human eye, let alone someone who is attempting to clean an area without knowing what they are looking for. Another problem someone faces when not knowing about cleanup protocols, is how and where to dispose of the items after cleanup. Special handling and disposal permits are required for blood and biohazards and those who are found improperly disposing of these biohazards are subject to hefty fines.
If you or someone that you know is a victim of death, crime or tragedy, contact Bio Scene Clean Up immediately so we can help you remain safe. Our technicians are discreet, compassionate and available to help you with life’s tragedies. We understand that bad things happen to good people and we offer these services to help our clients bear the painstaking task of removing all traces of danger from their property.

The dangers associated with Trauma Scene Cleanup
Trauma happens to everyone at one point during their life, but what happens when the traumatic scenes leave behind biohazard waste that must be cleaned and removed? Bio Scene Clean Up provides certified biohazard cleanup for Trauma, Death, Suicide, Crime and many other scenes that contain potentially dangerous biohazards.
When a trauma occurs, especially with the presence of blood, emergency professionals and police departments do not clean up the aftermath of the trauma scene. That responsibility is left to a family member of the victim or the property owner. These types of dangerous scene cleanups should never be performed by an untrained individual. As a certified biohazard cleaning and removal company, we provide these services to assist the victim’s family members or the property owners to ensure proper cleanup and remediation of the scene where the trauma occurred.
Every State has different protocol for the cleanup and removal/disposal of biohazard waste and materials. Our company is certified to follow these protocols and all technicians are trained to protect our clients and return the scene to a safe condition as soon as possible. If an individual were to attempt to clean and dispose of biohazards they are putting themselves and others at risk for potential infections or health compromises. They may also be subject to fines imposed by their municipality for the improper cleanup and disposal.
Often times the health conditions of these victims are not known or the scenes are too emotionally overwhelming for the victim’s family members or property owners to deal with. Bio Scene Clean Up provides these services on a daily basis. Over the course of the past decade, there are very few types of biohazard scenes that we haven’t cleaned up.
If you, or someone you know has experienced a trauma, discovered an unattended death or crime scene that contains biohazards and requires cleanup it’s imperative that you contact our office immediately for assistance. We are experts in insurance billing and utilization of other community resources that can assist with payment for our services. Don’t put yourself or others at risk due to your inability to pay. Your protection is our main concern.

Biohazard Cleanup from Fingerprint Dust
If you are the victim of a crime, you’ll have enough to worry about just dealing with the trauma and details after the police and investigators leave. Some forces employ professional crime scene cleaners like Bio Scene Clean Up to clean the aftermath of a crime however often times it’s left up to the victims themselves to clean.
Depending on the type of crime the scene may have hidden biohazards that most untrained people would not think about. If it’s a violent crime scene, there is usually a presence of blood or other bodily fluids that can be transferred to various areas of the scene in the process of investigators dusting for prints. The dusting powder used leaves residue on everything in the area. Carpets, furniture and other elements like doors, windows and walls are often covered with residue. Although very difficult to clean and properly remove, Bio Scene Clean Up utilizes industrial solutions and various equipment to remediate crime scenes. We ensure your property will be returned to a sanitized pre-incident state.
If there is a presence of blood or other bodily fluids, we advise you not to attempt to clean the scene on your own. Blood and other fluids, once dried, can become airborne and molecules can attach to the fingerprint dust. This means that these areas may potentially contain deadly bio-organisms that can be easily ingested with dust particles in the air or may adhere to clothing or other fabrics and transferred to other areas or people. This type of clean up generally requires a professional company that can remove and dispose of all biohazard waste the proper way. We are a certified biohazard removal company and possess the necessary permits and experience to properly clean and sanitize your property so it’s free from all biohazards.
If you have been the victim of a crime or know someone who is required to clean up a crime, death or suicide scene, contact our office immediately so we can help access the scene and provide you with protection from these dangerous biohazards. 5 things you need to know about blood
Concerns about infectious diseases found in blood are growing rapidly on a global basis. In today’s society the amount of traumatic events, crimes, suicides and other blood related traumas seems to be increasing on a daily basis. Bio Scene Clean Up is experienced in blood, crime, trauma and other biohazard cleanup practices. Here are 5 tips that you really need to know about blood and blood cleanup.
1. Even topical blood spots need to be handled with extreme caution. Topical spots usually mean a perimeter of about 12 to 18 inches surrounding the blood source. What most people don’t realize is that blood, when splattered in an area can have trace elements that contain infectious diseases and other dangerous pathogens become airborne or land in areas several feet away from the source. This causes hidden dangers as these elements are not easily seen or thought about.
2. Blood that soaks into carpet, flooring or other material must be handled by a specialist trained in biohazard removal. Often times after carpet or other porous surfaces are removed, the sub elements (sub-flooring, wood, furniture) must be completely removed and disposed of to remediate the potential of further contamination.
3. It’s rare that you know the exact health status of a person who sustains blood loss from instances like suicides, crime and traumatic accidents. Because the status is unknown, you must assume that it’s likely infectious and employ a professional biohazard cleanup company to properly clean and remove any blood biohazards.
4. Blood spills on carpet CAN NOT be cleaned or removed by a professional carpet cleaning company. If you find a company that will actually do this work, be prepared that the presence of blood stains, odors and most likely the presence of bugs and insects will occur shortly after the cleanup is complete. Blood must be cleaned up or removed using specialized equipment and chemicals that are usually only available to professionally trained technicians like the ones at Bio Scene Clean Up.
5. If a traumatic accident, death or suicide occurs in commercial or institutional buildings, it is the employer or administrators responsibility to make sure that an emergency plan for blood/bodily fluid cleanup is followed. Companies have a higher risk associated with these scenes because of the number of people that are usually in a concentrated area where incidents occur.
These are only a few of many facts that you should know about blood and bodily fluid clean up. If you experience an incident containing blood spills, contact us immediately for more information and assistance with cleaning the incident scene.
